      On the Moon there is no atmosphere!! Our Planet has it and protect us every day from asteroids and small detrides, turning them into dust. Moon is not cover and protect by any sort of atmosphere and radiations, this is why is it consider an extreme environment for human begins but it is the closer planet to Earth (it is “easy” to get there than on Mars).
