      Hey Niamh,

I don’t ever regret it. But I definitely have bad days. On these bad days I might doubt myself, my ability to do things, my motives. Sometimes I question everything that I’m doing. This sort of stuff can be really tough. It can be hard also when you cant talk about work with people – not many people understand this stuff – its annoying when you have a good day and you cant really share it with anyone.

Believe or not, but even if I have to work all the day on Saturday and Sunday (like this weekend), NO!Never, I love it! I just like it! I might have doubts about how to resolve a problem or fixing stuff but I have no doubts about engineering, at all.

Never, I love going to work and solving problems everyday. I could work in any area and still be happy. Engineering lets you do lots of different jobs, there is so much choice out there.

      Hey Niamh,

I don’t regret becoming a software engineer. Sometimes I wish I had started my own company after college instead of working for someone else!

I did not. For me it was the best decision I could have made. I know other people who did not enjoy it that much.

Don’t be afraid of the maths but be aware that engineering will involve maths.
