      Yea engineers get reasonably well paid. Especially if you go to the USA – in silicon valley the pay can be 4-5 more for the same job.

      Well I am not rich but I have a good life style. Of course, in companies they will pay you more than in the Universities. Here all the PhD students are paid equally (little less than 1500 euro), but there are exception.

      Yeah Software Engineers are paid pretty well. There are a lot of jobs in programming so companies have to pay more to compete when hiring programmers. The best software engineers often get lots of companies fighting over them!

      When you become an engineer you will get paid good. When choosing a job you should make sure that you like it 😉
