• Question: How long would it take you to design and build a robot ?

      Hi,
      that depends on the robot that you want to build. The ones I worked with so far were complete when we ordered them and we focused on the software to run it. In general you will always buy some parts and use them which means that it mainly depends on how much you buy and how much you do yourself. With boxes like Lego Mindstorms you can build robots in less than a day 🙂

      As Frederick said below, it depends what you want it to do. If can buy a robot and just program it, it might only take a few hours. You can get simple kits you can build over a day or two.
      The robot’s I make, I usually design, fabricate and program myself . depending on the complexity this process could easily take 6mnths – 1 year
