      1) Old gingerbread: there is nothing more stable than that
      2) Frosting: to glue the gingerbread together
      3) Marshmallows: for isolation to keep the house warm
4, 5) Cholate, Gummi bears because I would like that to be inside the building

      Hiya,
Same answer as in chat today… I’d make it from Rocky road ingredients and have Rocky road blocks (chocolate, marshmallows, malteasers, purple snacks) and I’d use edible paper for the windows!

It would have to be a mix of Wispas and Double Deckers. I know it would not make a great building up at least I would have all the chocolate I like around me.

      Hi Sean,
First of all, if I would design a building of sweets it would be super important that I was not tempted to eat the sweets. It would be really dumb to make a building that would later collapse on top of me because I ate the foundations. Definite Darwin award if that happened! (http://www.darwinawards.com/)
So I’d make the structure from something like hard toffee. I’d make the roof from hard candy or ‘rock’ so that rain would not be absorbed. Inside Id make the furniture be lined with licorice (love that smell!).
Last two details – I would have ice cream in the garden. And the driveway would be pebble dash with skittles 🙂
