Sure it can be challenging sometimes but that is the same in every job, I assume. Also, there is nothing better than having solved a problem that challenged you for a long time. In general you are never alone so there are lots of people to talk to who can help you.

Hey Chloe.
To be honest I don’t find it too hard as I really enjoy it! I’ve seen people find it really hard who maybe are better off in a different job. The cool thing about studying Computer Science is there are lots of different types of jobs to suit different people. My friends from college do a range of different jobs
* Programmer like me, creating Apps or Websites by writing code
* QA/Tester: An expert in finding ways to break stuff and making sure the programmers are doing a good job!
* Business Analyst: Works closely with the customer to figure out what they need you to make for them
* Project Manager: Makes sure the team are working well and you have the budget you need and resources you need. Preparing reports for the customer etc.

We are trained to be engineer, it is not hard but challenging and enjoyable! In the university they will teach you have to face the majority of the problems then it is up to you to gain experience in different field.

It’s as hard as any other job. Anything that you don’t know or understand you will just learn it on the job. Most companies are very supportive of helping their employees learn new things and will even send you on a course. The hardest thing to get use to is change. All the technology you use is always changing, some people just don’t like that.
