      My dream is to make a robot that can work autonomously in peoples homes. I’m fascinated by the idea that we can build something as complex as ourselves. I’m not saying that building a robot that can work autonomously is as complicated as we are (it most likely wont be), however it will represent a major step in this direction. I’m especially interested in how we can give a robot ‘social intelligence’ – the ability to socially interact with humans. Building a robot to perform in peoples homes does not only interest me, but it also serves several really important practical user needs – it has the potential to really increase the independence of elderly and disabled people.
